Business Problem

The Aga Khan University and Hospitals have commenced large transformational program of change that involves the implementation of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) in its hospitals throughout Pakistan, Nairobi, and Afghanistan.

Bdna was called upon to provide an external review of the proposed delivery budget and delivery program.

Our Role

Bdna were engaged due to our experience in estimating, initiating and delivering large transformational programs combined with our internal project estimating toolkit to review the Aga Khan EHR project budget.

Bdna provided the following services:

• Program budget review
• Risk assessment
• Delivery team assessment
• Data migration plan review
• Formal recommendations and proposed rectification plans
• Regular follow up
• Independent advice to the Chief Information Officer

Outcome

The Aga Khan University and Hospitals have commenced their EHR delivery and are currently finalising the design and implementation phases.
