Gold Coast ieMR

Business Problem

Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS) were early adopters of a medical record solution and recently joined with the state-wide integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR) solution.

The GCHHS faced many technical, data and organisational challenges to successfully transition to the state-wide solution and Bdna were there to help.

Our Role

Bdna has recently been recognised in our contribution towards the successful, on-schedule Program delivery of ieMR across the GCHHS. In particular Bdna was recognised for:

• Providing specialist ieMR analytics and reporting consultancy across Emergency, Surgery, Outpatient, Pharmacy, Maternity and Inpatient (Allergies, Allied Health, Palliative Care)

• Development of clinical and non-clinical dashboards

• Outpatient Letter suite software development

Outcome

The GCHHS successfully transitioned from the existing workflows and solution to the state-wide ieMR solution. The GCHHS delivery director acknowledged Bdna for “doing whatever it took to deliver and always being available to support/assist the GCHHS project and business areas with ieMR challenges, including non-contracted days.”
